Summary:

This presentation will explore the prevalence rates of gang members and the evolution of their presence within these groups. It will analyze their delinquency, victimization, and the risk factors associated with gang affiliation. The findings are based on data from approximately ten countries that participated in the ISRD-2, -3, and -4 studies. The sample consists of students around 14 years old, with the Eurogang definition used to identify gang members. Significant differences in gang member prevalence across countries have been highlighted, along with a notable increase in the presence of girls in some countries between ISRD-2 and ISRD-3.
