Abstract

"Return to work (RTW) after a common mental disorder (CMD) is a critical challenge for police officers and their organizations. As part of a doctoral research project, this study explores the relationship between workplace climate and sustainable RTW (SRTW) among 70 Quebec police officers. The findings reveal that positive perceptions of work tasks, including fairness and resource management, contribute to SRTW and reduce psychological distress. This presentation will discuss the theoretical contributions of this research, particularly in developing tailored RTW plans that promote police officers’ well-being and enhance the quality of services provided to the communities they serve."
