In presence and in Zoom (hybrid)
Movements such as #MoiAussi and #TimesUp reflect crime victims' dissatisfaction with the criminal justice system, its difficulties in delivering justice to victims, and the urgent need for change. The Justice Centre for Victims of Crime (CJVAC) was created to enable victims to obtain relevant information on the criminal justice process and on the resources available to help mitigate the impact of crime, as well as the effects of second victimization experienced by many of them. The strength and uniqueness of CJVAC lies in the interdisciplinary nature of its services, combining the expertise of law and criminology. Thanks to the participation of law and criminology students, the CJVAC is an educational activity that is combined with a legal advisory service. In this conference, we will present the CJVAC and the results of its evaluation.
