Mathilde Noc (Ulaval)

Post-doctoral studies

During the year 2023-2024, Mathilde NOC completed a post-doctoral internship at Laval University and the CICC, on the theme of interviewing suspects of child sex crimes involving the internet. Her work consisted in studying the content of investigative interviews, and assessing which investigative techniques are best suited to eliciting information and confessions from suspects, and detecting lies.

Postdoc title: Evaluation of the content of interviews with suspects of child sex crimes on the Internet: a field observation.

Doctoral studies

A psychologist since 2018, Mathilde NOC completed her PhD at the Université de Psychologie de Clermont-Ferrand (defended in July 2023). Her thesis focused on Cognitive Interviewing for Suspects and, more globally, how to limit the social and cognitive influences at work during the interview.
