Benoît Dupont

Full Professor at the School of Criminology at the Université de Montréal, Benoit Dupont also holds the Canada Research Chair in Cyberresilience (2023-2030). The objectives of this Chair are to systematize knowledge on practices and tools related to cyberresilience, expand the application of this knowledge to criminals and vulnerable groups, and develop simulation methods and learning approaches to facilitate the acquisition of cyberresilience skills. It's worth noting the renewal of the Research Chair in Cybercrime Prevention, which aims to develop knowledge about cybercrime and effective strategies to prevent it.

Benoit Dupont also holds the Human-Centric Cybersecurity Partnership and is the co-founder of the Clinique de Cyber-criminologie. His research interests include domestic security, cybercrime prevention, the use of new technologies, policing practices, and comparative policing.
