Céline Bellot

Céline Bellot is the director of the Observatoire des profilages (ODP), comprising 37 researchers and 19 field partners, established as a strategic learning community. Funded through a SSHRC partnership grant, this Observatory ensures vigilance and oversight. Its goal is to develop new knowledge about profiling practices and experiences, and advocate for changes in institutional policies and practices to put an end to them.

Céline Bellot is also a full professor at the School of Social Work at the Université de Montréal. Her research interests revolve around social control, deviance, marginality, intervention practices, social problems, and vulnerability.
