Anne Crocker

Anne Crocker is the Director of Research and Academic Teaching at the Institut de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel, as well as a Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction at the Université de Montréal. She also holds a Canada Research Chair in Mental Health, Justice, and Security.

She leads an Observatoire en justice et santé mentale, which aims to bring together researchers and partners from across Quebec in the fields of health, social services, law, public and community security, rights advocacy, and family representatives. The objective is to deepen knowledge, inform, and improve cross-sectoral practices at the interface of mental health, justice, and public safety. Anne Crocker is also responsible for the intersectoral training center Forensia, which aims to provide a comprehensive educational program to support various networks in the application of best practices in forensic mental health.
