Valentine Doffiny (November 2024 to May 2025)

Biography:

Valentine Doffiny is a Ph.D. candidate at the National Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS) and an assistant in the Department of Criminology at the University of Liège (ULiège). With a background in criminology and social work, she specializes in the study of female criminal behavior, focusing particularly on the etiology of incarcerated women in Francophone Belgium.

Research Themes:

Her research primarily addresses the criminal etiology of incarcerated women, electronic monitoring, as well as prostitution and male perceptions in this context. She is also interested in the social representations of minors in judicial protection and in feminist criminology.
